WEEKLY REFLECTION 

(January 13th-22th)

This week also I reached the school at 9:15.I completed the the story The School For Sympathy .using flash cards, charts,activity sheets, my teaching aids. I conducted the Achievement test and collected the data of project.Then I took innovative lesson plan and conducted role-play model. At last I took signature of the concerned teacher and Headmistress  record and sealed the record.

CONTENT ANALYSIS:         ‘The School for Sympathy’ is story written by E V Lucas. In this story the narrator got an opportunity to visit Miss. Beam’s school of  last week .when he reached there he saw a girl with her eyes bandaged, guided by a little boy.

Ø  Helps to promote human values like sympathy, empathy, etc

Enhances to show sympathy towards others feeling and views.

INFORMAL TALK Teacher warms up the students. PICTURISATION Teacher shows the picture of the author E V Lucas INTRODUCTION Teacher  introduces the topic clearly . “THE SCHOOL FOR SYMPATHY” is a story by E V Lucas. The story describes the term sharing and caring in our life. READING Teacher reads the paragraphs with proper stress and pronunciation. LOUD READING Teacher asks students from each benches.  SHARING THE IDEAS Teacher asks the students to share their ideas with peers. INTRODUCING THE DIFFICULT WORDS CLARIFY THE DOUBTS Teacher clears the doubts. INDIVIDUAL WORK Teacher asks a few scaffolding questions. GROUP  WORK Teacher gives a question for discuss and write. “Bubbles using the words or phrases which show quality, appearance, and personality. EDITING Teacher edits the product GROUP PRESENTATAION Teacher asks the students to present their answers. CONCLUSION Teacher concluded the paragraphs. FOLLOW UP ACTIVITY Teacher gives an assignment.  “write a short note on one of your experience of helping others.”

This week I continued the story "The School for Sympathy " by EV Lucas.I used ict, flash cards, chart  as  my teaching aids for the week. I continued the peer observation.I participated in the Mid -Day meal serving.

This week I completed the story and A Day In The Country using the chart and flash cards as my teaching aids. On January-3 i started the 5th unit 'Share and Care' .Then I conducted conscientization on viii-B.I observed the class of my friends. The last day of the week i started the 'The School for Sympathy 'by using chart, flash cards, pictures as my teaching aids.
